The C-A-T Generation 7 is a proven one-handed tourniquet designed to rapidly control life-threatening bleeding from a limb following traumatic injury.
It uses a windlass system with an internal band to apply firm, even pressure around the limb. Once bleeding is controlled, the windlass is secured for movement, evacuation, and onward casualty care.
