Service Description

Pre-course reading of Ambulance Care Practice is recommended before your FREC 4 and if you already hold a FREC 3 qualification. This will compliment the Ambulance care Essentials book that we recommended to read before your FREC 3 course. If you are gaining entry to FREC 4 with prior learning and not a FREC 3 qualification, we recommend Ambulance Care Essentials. Look no further than the Qualsafe Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (FREC4). This nationally recognised qualification is designed for healthcare professionals who provide emergency care in a variety of settings. With FREC4, you’ll gain the knowledge and clinical practice needed to confidently assess patients using various methods, including physiological measures. You’ll learn how to act on your findings and provide safe, prompt, and effective prehospital care in emergency situations. This qualification aligns with Skillset E of the Faculty of Prehospital Care RCS Ed Framework, ensuring that you meet the required competencies to deliver high-quality care. Upon completion, you’ll have an intermediate level of prehospital care knowledge, equipping you to handle a range of emergency scenarios. Course syllabus Are you ready to become a certified first responder? Level 3 First Response Emergency Care is the comprehensive training program you’ve been looking for. Designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to handle emergency situations, this course covers a wide range of subjects. From CPR and AED techniques for adults, children, and infants, to airway management, trauma assessment and treatment, fracture management, and more. You’ll also learn how to handle medical emergencies, manage unconscious patients, and complete patient report forms accurately. Gain confidence in your abilities and make a real difference in emergency situations with Level 3 First Response Emergency Care. What do we mean by “equivalent”? We accept other qualifications that comply with the relevant guidance from the Health and Safety Executive.
